Abandon. A New Sculpture and a Busy Summer of Making

After a busy June with Wirral Open Studios and then Potfest by the Lake at Compton Verney, I came home and life quietly shifted. My mum has been recovering from a hip replacement, and for the past few weeks that has taken priority. The studio has been there, waiting patiently, and I have dipped in and out when I can. Sometimes that is how it goes, and I have learned not to resist it.

Abandon had her first outing at Potfest this summer and has just landed on the website. She stands wide-legged and open, arms flung outward, taking up space with complete ease.

I have also added some new miniature sculptures, Rock Star and Stretch, which were again new for Potfest, full of fun and sass!
