Abreast at Tinker Gallery. Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In October I took part in Abreast, a group exhibition at the Tinker Gallery in Ilkley, running throughout the month in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The exhibition was curated by gallery owner Joanne Tinker, who has spoken openly about her own experience of breast cancer, and whose warmth and purpose runs through every aspect of this show. The work across the exhibition, paintings, photographs, ceramics, textiles, follows themes of women's lives, bodies, femininity and identity, with an overall message of positivity and resilience. Twenty-five percent of all sales went towards breast cancer support.
