Stillness is a hand-built ceramic sculpture that explores quiet presence and grounded strength. Coiled in white grogged stoneware and left unglazed, the surface retains the clay’s natural texture and raw, tactile character.
Its bold, upward-reaching form reflects a sense of calm energy and containment. Inspired by the abstracted female form and the meditative pace of making, the piece invites reflection, connection, and pause.

Additional Details
Sculpture can be placed indoors or outdoors. If intending on placing a sculpture outside, I do recommend a coating of sealant, which I can apply on request. This does not affect the fired finish but maybe darkens the clay ever so slightly. If you are considering this, I could apply the sealant to a test tile of the clay so you can see exactly how it will look.
